Global economy

The economy viewed as resulting from the integration of economies and economic policies on a world level.

The global economy is characterized by its transnational nature, consisting of a network of economic interactions that supersede national borders. In this sense, it is not be confused with the term "world economy", which simply refers to the sum of economic activities worldwide, including activities which take place at a national level.
