Itinerant workers, migratory workers, frontier workers and migrant workers are mobile workers
.
"The principle of the free movement of persons applies within the European Union and the European Economic Area. For the European worker, this means that he has the right to move to another Member State to work or to look for a job. In doing so, he can expect greater freedom of movement and better protection than other workers who are not European citizens.
Nonetheless, mobile workers run into a very complex legal framework."
