A manager responsible for organizing the activities involved with the identification, acquisition, and distribution of goods and information throughout a supply chain system.

Description

Supply chain management begins by acquiring raw resources and ends with the delivery of final goods to customers. To work in this profession, individuals need to be able to network and coordinate events with business partners and service firms in a wide variety of sectors, including manufacturing, transportation, and warehousing. Information management and distribution management also play important roles in this relationship.
