Clandestine migration

The unauthorized movement of persons from one country to another for the purpose of establishing themselves.

The study of transnational migration includes illegal or clandestine migration (undocumented workers who do not benefit from social protection by host countries), as well as legal migration (workers at all levels of skill and education who do benefit from social protection).
