Définition

A worker who is a member of a cooperative.

Description

Cooperatives can reduce costs, thus raising the incomes of their members, and eliminating the profits of the middleman. In addition, the theory is that individuals united have greater power than a single individual. The cooperative's capital is contributed by the members, who are the stockholders.
