Economic liberalization

The complete or partial removal of government regulations and policies that limit free flow of goods and services from one nation to another.

Economic liberalization includes the removal of tariff barriers (such as duties and export subsidies) and non-tariff barriers (such as licensing regulations, quotas, and labour or environmental standards).
