Définition

The right of a worker or employer to freely associate, self-organize and designate representatives for the purpose of negotiating the terms and conditions of employment or administration.

Description

ILO Convention 87 includes a provision for the right to organize.
Article 2: "Workers and employers, without distinction whatsoever, shall have the right to establish and, subject only to the rules of the organisation concerned, to join organisations of their own choosing without previous authorisation."
